Our Fertility Medical Team

Thank you for your interest in learning more about our team. Our caring doctors and experienced staff are critical to delivering the quality patient care that the community has come to expect. We see patients from far and wide and have an excellent reputation for friendly, helpful staff and highly-regarded, accessible doctors.

In recognition of our expertise and level of patient care, we enjoy national attention as a leader in reproductive medicine, and are routinely cited for our work with IVF transfers, donor egg program, and frozen embryo transfers, in addition to our IUI success stories. To improve our level of quality and service even further by providing exclusive clinical care, Dr. Rosenberg founded the Henrico Doctor’s Hospital IVF clinic in 1985, the first private practice IVF clinic in Central Virginia. In 1998, Drs. Rosenberg and Tidey joined four other Richmond Reproductive Endocrinologists and IVF specialists to form their current IVF center, located in Stony Point. This state-of-the-art facility has even further improved patient care and enjoys superb success rates!

However, we could not have achieved any of our success without the help of our excellent team.

Meet the Staff

“My name is Valerie Lees (third from the right in the above photo) and I am both our IVF Program Coordinator  and our Surgical Scheduling Coordinator.  I have been  working here and helping patients achieve their goals of having a family ever since 1990.   It is such an amazing job, getting to work with so many interesting yet challenging individuals! I try to do all I can to take the stress away from patients while we help with their “infertility journey.”

“I am Kim Beazley (second from left in the photo above) and I have worked at the Richmond Center for Fertility since 2000. Among other things, my nursing responsibilities include overseeing the Center’s IUI Program and I love what I do. I especially love to be able to give patients ‘warm fuzzies’ and try to give them support and someone to listen to. I could not imagine doing anything else.”

“I am Susan Swann, (third from left, above) and I have manned the desk in our front office as the Richmond Center’s Patient Coordinator since 1998. I love my job here, since I get to greet understandably anxious patients with a smile and a friendly hello and do what I can to minimize their stress. I try to make their first visit especially as comfortable as possible, knowing how difficult this journey can be. I take pride in my role coordinating their followup appointments to fit their busy schedules, and I enjoy getting to know them over the course of their visits. I am definitely a “people person” and want patients to know that I, and everyone here at the Center, thinks of them as a person and that they are very much more important to us than just a number.”

“Hi! I am Pam Martin, (fourth from left, above) and I have been the Insurance Coordinator for Richmond Center for Fertility since 2001. My job involves obtaining all referrals and authorizations for surgical as well as Infertility treatment. I determine whether patients are eligible for coverage and whether the service requested is available for benefits under their health care plan. Insurance coverage can significantly impact your treatment decisions.I enjoy working with the patients and getting to know each one. My goal each day is to ensure our patients receive the quality of service they expect and provide them with adequate and accurate information when discussing treatment options and determining health care decisions. We all work together as a team to provide encouragement and support to each and every patient and make each one feel special.”

“My name is Joan Schihl, (second from right, above) and I have been with the Richmond Center for Fertility since the day it opened, Aug. 1, 1985! Over the years I have worn many hats as receptionist/secretary/business and office manager (and even occasionally as exam room chaperone when the need arose!), but as we grew from two employees then to our full staff , and from one doctor to our two great doctors now, my job has evolved to Business Manager, full-time.  Although I miss some of the direct patient contact I enjoyed in the early days, I take great pride in the fact that when patients need to discuss the financial aspects of their treatment I do my best to prevent those hard economic issues from adding any unnecessary stressors to those they already endure due to infertility or any of the other reasons we see patients here. I love the fact that patients so frequently express their feeling that everyone, myself included, at the Richmond Center for Fertility and Endocrinology really, really cares about them and wants to do whatever they can to make them successful.”
